GTM for Founders is led by John G. Kelly, founder and Principal. John is supported by analysts and a network of service providers and complimentary growth experts. John leverages decades of expertise in B2B Sales and a track record of delivering results for seed stage and growth stage startups across many industries to tailor solutions for your unique revenue scaling goals.
We lead with a client-centered approach to build practical go to market strategies that unlock their growth potential and avoid the common pitfalls of scaling revenue by: enabling and improving founder led sales processes, identifying the right time to hire sales professionals, creating the resources to help your sellers succeed, and building the framework for you and others to effectively manage sales performance.
The GTM for Founders team delivers results that career consultants cannot by leveraging lessons learned on the front lines scaling revenue and solving sales problems that impact startups and growth-stage companies.
Successful B2B growth engines are built on a foundation of 4 pillars; we use the acronym CAMO to describe these pillars, structure discovery activities and place client projects into appropriate work streams. CAMO and its subparts are your Revenue Operating System.
The pillars of the revenue operating system are interlinked. A weakness in one area affects the others and drags on results. Each pillar is made up of several subparts with their own interdependencies. We begin engagements with a 360-degree evaluation of clients' GTM strategy and sales process and tailor solutions to sure up your growth pillars.
After working with your GTM team, you will rely on the Revenue Operating System to understand and overcome your future growth challenges.
Given the frequent improvements in AI model performance, it is tempting for advisors to delegate client deliverables to machines. However, newer and better models can't outrun the hallmarks of AI-speak. You know the signs: em-dashes, question-and-answer prose, overuse of framing points (it's not just X, it's Y). While bad prose is a problem, it pales in comparison to bad data and hallucinated citations that are copied and pasted into consulting client work every day.
Even Big 4 Consulting firms have been caught passing off LLM slop as highly valuable deliverables. There is a place for LLMs in developing content and performing research, but since no LLM output can be copyrighted then none of that content should appear in client deliverables.
Anybody can feed an LLM prompts and paste the output; consulting clients are paying a trusted advisor for their perspective and expertise. The GTM for Founders team commits to deliver only original thought and strategic recommendations to our clients via independently researched and cited resources.
